HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY | Orville Paugh

Born: Nov. 13, 1908, in Danville, Pa.

Residence: Meridian Arms Living Center, 650 W. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Parents: Daniel and Lillian (Lake) Paugh.

Siblings: Robert and Charles Paugh and Grace Kucharski, all deceased.

Married: Eleanor Osborn on Aug. 12, 1932, at Four Mile Run Christian Church. She died in 1998.

Children: Carol Payne of Canfield and Janet Svetichan of Cape Haze, Fla.

Descendants: Five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Employment: Owned and operated Paugh Greenhouses in Canfield from 1945 to 1965 and was a street department superintendent in Canfield until retiring.

Memberships: Canfield Christian Church and a 65-year member of the Masonic Lodge.

Activities: Was a volunteer at Trinity Fellowship in Lake Milton for many years and a volunteer at the information booth at the annual Fourth of July celebration in Canfield.

Celebration: A celebration is planned at the Meridian Arms, and a potluck dinner will take place in his honor after the Nov. 16 worship service at Canfield Christian Church, where he has been a member for 63 years.
