Austintown bank robbed today

AUSTINTOWN— A man robbed National City Bank on Mahoning Avenue of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police Chief Robert Gavalier said at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, the man, who was dressed in white tennis shoes, a white sweatshirt and a white ball cap, entered the bank and handed a note to the clerk, demanding money.
The man took the money and walked out of the front door of the bank. Witnesses said he headed east on Mahoning Avenue.

WOW! It says nothing about it being a white or black person. You better start reading before you post ignorant comments like that.

First of all, I'd like to say that this has nothing to do with race! What is wrong with you people??? A criminal is a criminal, regardless of race! It was a white male though. It didn't say it in this article, but it has said it on the news websites and on the news. It showed a picture of him too. They said it was a white male about 6'4", wearing a white long sleeve shirt with an Indians logo on it and a white baseball cap...and that he had "noticeble acne". Of course it's important to know the suspects' race and other significant features, in order to identify him...but let's grow up and take a step into reality! It is 2008...is this racial crap ever going to end??!! I'm sick of this ignorance!
we would all like to see it end,but still theres gona be a few who will never see anything but color,no matter what! all im saying is we need to be aware of just how bad it is! I just don't understand how thats all people see is color. A person is a person no matter there skin color. Animals don't see in color and I would like to think humans are more advanced than animals. WE ARE ALL People No matter what, we need to stop the hatered!!!
