It’s not often that a new theater opens in the Mahoning Valley, but that’s what happens tonight when Main Street Theater — formerly the Columbiana Cinema — throws open its doors for an open house. The newly renovated theater on the town circle will invite all to tour the building, while being entertained by Maluso and Blackson. Tickets will be passed out at the box office. Show times are 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30.
The hip-hop duo of DaboonDox has a new CD, “Wounded World,” which it will celebrate in a release party at Barley’s, 21 W. Federal St., downtown Youngstown. Lucky Penny will host the evening, which will also feature opening act S-Pomp. Admission to the 18-and-over show is $5. It starts at 10.
