Area golfers will scramble with NFL players

LOWELLVILE — The first Lowellville Gridiron Classic golf scramble will be May 17 at Bedford Trails with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

The scramble, which is open to the public, will consist of competition between four-man teams, with each squad including one player from the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers or someone from the area with a NFL connection.

Entry fee is $150 per golfer, which includes lunch, dinner, refreshments and hole prizes. More information may be obtained by calling Bedford Trails (330-536-2234), Ralph Moore (330-509-2974) or Larry Novak (330-720-2364).

An autograph session is set from 5-6 p.m. The cost to attend is $50.
