YOUNGSTOWN — A seven-man, five-woman jury has found Dr. Gregory S. Dew, a former Boardman chiropractor, guilty of four counts of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of corruption of a minor.
The jury deliberated for about 10 hours at the end of a weeklong trial before delivering its verdicts early this evening to Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Dr. Dew, 46, of Kelly Park Road, Columbiana, faces three to 48 years in prison when he is sentenced at noon Monday, depending on whether the sentences are imposed at minimum or maximum levels, and whether they are concurrent or consecutive.
Dr. Dew was convicted of sex crimes committed between 1990 and 1992 against two of his female former gymnastics students, who were then between the ages of 15 and 17, before he became a chiropractor. He also was convicted of sex crimes against two adult female patients in his chiropractic practice between 2005 and 2007.
The judge revoked Dr. Dew’s bail, and he was handcuffed by a deputy sheriff and taken to Mahoning County Jail.

I wonder what all those who defended Greg and called his child victims sluts have to say now that he's been convicted.
Just because a jury (people just like everyone else, making their OPINIONS) convicted Greg Dew, does NOT mean that he is guilty. With that said, I'm sure that many people who defended him before did it because they believed he was innocent and probably still do.
Judge R. Scott Krichbaum was part of an act of public corruption in convicting an innocent man of alleged crimes that he did not commit.
During the sentencing procedures Judge Krichbaum compared Dr. Dew to a Nazi Death Camp Physician. His comments were not only inappropriate for a person of Judge Krichbaum's ethnic background, but completely ridiculous and preposterous. To try and associate Dr. Dew with Nazism and anti-semitism is more than "over the top" and is another demonstration of the prejudice of the trial court, prosecution, and law enforcement against Dr. Dew.

You will see and hear how the complainants, law enforcement, and the prosecution continuously changed their statements, introduced contradicting documents, withheld evidence from the defense to gain strategic advantage, modified the indictments on numerous occasions, including a major modification of the indictments on the morning of the first day of trial.
It is sad that Mahoning county has learned to accept corruption in government as a way of life.

Ask yourselves why the Mahoning Valley is so corrupt the next time you go to the voting booth to re-elect the criminals now in office. We live in a republic. We can make a change for the better. We choose those who represent us with our vote. If you continue to support the criminals in office then you deserve the fruits of your own vote.
