CANFIELD — The city has issued a precautionary boil order for residents of North Broad Street, Oak Tree Drive, Pinecone Drive, Dartmouth Drive, Chapel Lane, Sleepy Hollow and Willow Way until 5 p.m. Thursday because of a water line break on North Broad Street at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. As a precautionary measure, water for drinking, cooking and oral hygiene should be boiled for at least 1 minute before use. Any other city residents experiencing discolored water should also consider following the boil order. There is no evidence of water contamination, City Manager Charles Tieche said.
