YOUNGSTOWN — The decomposed body of a man reported missing on June 12 was found today inside the basement of a vacant three-plex apartment building at 309 W. Glenaven Ave. on the South Side.
Lawrence Anderson, 22, of East Pasadena Avenue was identified by a tattoo on his arm, said Rick Jamrozik, a coroner’s investigator. The body was sent to Cleveland for autopsy, Jamrozik said. A ruling on the death is pending autopsy results.
Police were sent to the vacant building to check out a foul smell, reports show.
When Anderson’s mother reported him missing earlier this month she told police that she’d heard from several juveniles that he was dead and had been burned up in a car.

I feel bad for his family. I watched the news last week and his mom and sister was crying saying it wasn't like him to not call them or show up. His mom suspected that he was probably dead but my heart goes out to his family and friends. Now they have closure but noone deserves to lose their life like this and no family deserves to go through this pain.
