Club schedules tour of area home gardens

EAST PALESTINE — East Palestine Town and Country Garden Club has finalized its plans for a tour of four home gardens that will take place from noon to 8 p.m. July 18 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19.

Tickets cost $8 in advance, which includes a box lunch, or $8 the day of the tour and no box lunch. Advance tickets can be purchased in East Palestine at D&D’s Restaurant, Sunflower Seed, Flowers Straight from the Heart and Fuller’s Tru-Value, or at Vivian’s Antiques in Columbiana or Town & Country in New Springfield.

In addition to the homes, the event will include a boutique in the minipark in the downtown area, where garden items, gifts, crafts, jewelry, purses, cookbooks, candles, and tickets for a raffle of two gift baskets can be purchased.
