Published:Thursday, June 26, 2008

WARREN — A pasta dinner benefit will take place from noon to 3 p.m. July 13 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Road, to offset the medical expenses of Craig Parana of Cortland, who suffers from brain cancer.

Parana has had two brain surgeries and is continuing more treatment at the Cleveland Clinic.

Tickets for the benefit are available at the parish office and Buena Vista Cafe, or by calling John and Kim Vogt at (330) 638-7639.

Sponsors are seeking monetary donations and items for a Chinese auction and a bake sale. All businesses will be recognized during the dinner for their generosity.
