UPDATE: Nothing but net at the DeBartolo golf outing

49ers lineman Manny Lawson brings back fond memories of the Larry Bird-Michael Jordan commercial where their basketball shots bounce off everything and finally make it into the net. Lawson is proud that his golf shots find a lot of objects: rocks, trees, cart paths and then eventually, the hole. St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger and his foursome played behind Lawson all day and their observation was that he should spend more money on golf lessons.
