Kinney-Lockard engagement is being announced

X POLAND — The engagement of Nina Ilene Kinney and Nickolaus Joseph Lockard, both of 5318 Cedar Lane, Columbia, Md., is announced by parents of the bride-elect, Bruce and Karen Kinney, 8557 Reserve Court.

Parents of the future groom are Miles Lockard, 353 Potomac Ave., Youngstown, and Christine Lockard, 25 Melbourne Ave., Boardman.

Miss Kinney graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in social work and from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a bachelor’s in nursing. She is a registered nurse in neonatal intensive care at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Md.

Mr. Lockard, an electrical engineer with Northrop Grumman Corp. in Baltimore, earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Youngstown State University. He served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force Reserve 910th Air Wing.

The couple have planned an open wedding for 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Harry and Jean’s in Canfield.
