Man charged with public indecency

BOARDMAN — A 36-year-old Liberty man was jailed after Boardman police charged him with public indecency. Police said he was masturbating in his truck, which was parked in the Kohl’s lot at the Shops at Boardman Park.

A security officer from Kohl’s had alerted Boardman police of the same man, Bryan Wellman, about a week ago. When police arrived at the incident on Saturday, they ordered the man out of his truck. When the man stepped out of the truck, his genitals were exposed, police said.
