“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ Channel 21; and 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable Channel 15 in Trumbull County): The Greater Youngstown Point is an organization whose purpose is to provide direct support and outreach for the homeless. Executive Director Michael James will talk with host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the program and its benefits to our community. James will discuss the homeless drop-in center, emergency shelter, shower and laundry facilities for the “street homeless,” emergency food distribution, permanent housing placement programs and more.
