Greenville, Pa. woman killed on state Route 80

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — Melenia M. Bierworth, 27, of Greenville, Pa., was killed Friday night in a one-car crash on state Route 80 in Lackawannock Township.

Pennsylvania State Police said Bierworth was traveling at an apparent high rate of speed at about 7:30 p.m. when her vehicle traveled off the left edge of the road, struck the center median embankment, went airborne, and rolled several times after landing before coming to rest on its wheels.

Bierworth, of South Summit Road, was pronounced dead at Grove City Medical Center.
