GIRARD — City officials have disclosed seven charges that Police Chief Frank Bigowsky will face at a hearing Tuesday, including teaching private classes on city time.
City administration has been investigating Bigowsky for several weeks, but had been reluctant to say exactly what the investigation is about. Bigowsky has been on paid administrative leave since June 9.
A list of complaints was sent to Bigowsky on Friday. The letter also gives notice that Bigowsky is to appear in the office of Jerry Lambert, safety services director, at 10 a.m. Tuesday to answer to the list.

Bigowsky is not a bad man, he is a good officer and deserves some leniency. He isn't Mr. "Joe Cop", rather a fair cop instead. I hope Girard doesn't ask him to step down before all the facts are straightened out.
