Plans announced for Gray-Rea Aug. 16 wedding

X POLAND — Announced by Edward and Suzanne Gray of Poland is the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Lynn Gray of Arlington, Va., and Dr. Niall John Rea of New York City, a son of Bernard and Aine Rea of Dublin, Ireland.

The bride-elect graduated from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland with a doctorate in computer science. She is a management consultant with Accenture in Washington.

The prospective groom is a financial engineer with First Derivatives in New York. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer and electronic engineering and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Trinity College Dublin.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows on Aug. 16 during a 5 p.m. ceremony in Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart at Georgetown University. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for a reception afterward at 1789 Restaurant in Georgetown.

A postnuptial reception will honor the couple in September at the Lawless Farm in New Springfield.
