Nutrition program at senior center

YOUNGSTOWN — Due to the growing interest in nutrition, the Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., in conjunction Ohio State University Extension and Forum Health, has initiated a new program, “Dining With Diabetes.”

The program will be a three-class series, which will include learning proper nutrition, new cooking techniques and lunch.

The cost will be $25 per person. Seating at the center is limited, and reservations are required by calling (330) 744-5071.

To offset some of the costs for the program, there will be a rummage sale from June 16 to July 21 at the center.
