“AFI’s 10 Top 10” (8 p.m., CBS): It’s another movie countdown special as “AFI’s 10 Top 10” focuses on the top 10 films from 10 classic film genres, including animation, fantasy, science fiction, gangster, western, sports, romantic comedy, courtroom drama, mystery and epics. A host of big stars join the festivities.

“Young and Restless in China” (9 p.m., PBS): There will be a lot of attention on China this summer with the impending Olympics. “Young and Restless in China” is a Frontline documentary that explores the generation coming of age in China today. Shot over four years, it follows nine young citizens as they scramble to keep pace with a society changing as fast as any in history.
