YOUNGSTOWN — Three vacant houses on the South Side burned over the weekend and early today. Firefighters sent to 125 Williamson Ave. at 1:45 a.m. today found the structure fully engulfed in flames and allowed it to burn down for safety reasons. Damage was set at $10,000, a total loss, and the cause is under investigation. While extinguishing a fire at 37 E. Boston Ave. at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, firefighters discovered the house next door at 41 E. Boston was burning, too. No damage estimate was given for 37 East Boston, where the fire was deliberately set, reports show. Damage at 41 East Boston was set at $5,000 and also determined to have been deliberately set, the fire department said.
