Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m., Cancer Support Group from 10 to 11 and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., Diabetic Workshop at 10, exercise at noon and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. Special events include: Tuesday, AngeNetta’s outing, and June 16, rummage sale begins. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program of $12.38 per month for eligible applicants.
