Six area people received their medical degrees from The Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM) in a recent commencement ceremony. Nearly two-thirds (63 percent) of the graduating class will remain in Ohio for their residencies. The local graduates are:

Residency: Medical residency transitional year at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, and a residency in ophthalmology at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

ADAM LUCHEY

Residency: Medical residency transitional year in preliminary surgery at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Morgantown, W. Va., and a residency in urology at West Virginia University School of Medicine.
