AARP 4339

X Austintown Chapter 4339, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road. Blood pressure screenings will be available beginning at noon. Ellen Speicher of Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park will be the speaker. Members are asked to take donations for door baskets and wrapped bingo prizes.

Tickets for the chapter picnic in July at the church are $3 (plus a casserole), and can be purchased from Doris Baker.

X Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center, 16 N. State St. After the business meeting, Rescue Mission of Youngstown will present a program. Reservations will be taken for the annual picnic to take place June 25 at the center. Cost is $6.

X Golden Pillars will meet at noon Tuesday in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Hall, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., after the 11 a.m. Mass. Eleanor Hnat will preside, and George Lutza will be honored as Father of the Year. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and bingo and cards will be played. Those attending are asked to take their own place settings.

J.C. Penney

X Retirees of J.C. Penney will have a monthly luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Plans for a picnic will be finalized.

K.C.ETTES

X The K.C.ettes of Polandwill have a picnic at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall. Entertainment will be by the Blackburn Ladies. Hostesses will be Ruth Burns, Betty Zelina, Theresa Mongone and Rosella Funara. For additional information, call Nancy Nappy, (330) 757-2823.

LOCAL 880

X UFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lucianno’s Restaurant, 1739 S. Raccoon Road in Austintown. All UFCW Local 880 retirees and their friends are invited. New members are welcome. A 50-50 raffle will take place.

X Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday following the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Clara Pascale and Ann Leone. X A meeting of the Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Brandywine Clubhouse, 3390 Flo-Lor Drive, Youngstown. Retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, their spouses or survivors are welcome. X St. Cyril Seniors will meet Thursday in the church hall following an 11:30 a.m. Mass. A catered lunch will be served at noon; cost is $6. Reservations are required by Monday. Election of officers will take place, birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a money raffle and bingo.

St. Joseph Goldenagers

X St. Rose Senior Parishioners will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rosetta Hall after the 11:30 a.m. meeting of officers. Pizza will be served.
