STRUTHERS — Rondinelli pounded out 15 hits as it posted a 5-1 victory over R&J Trucking in the Class B League Friday at Cene Park.
Jason Bagoly and Bo Slemons had three hits, while Drew Fitzpatrick and Jason Ferguson had two apiece for Rondinelli (8-1). Robert Switka worked six scoreless innings for the win. Evan Campbell hit a single and a run scoring triple for R&J Trucking (6-3).
Simon Roofing 11, Roth Brothers 1
Simon Roofing scored (6-3) six times in the fourth inning. Ross Revella hit a triple and single, while Evan Bollinger had two hits and Rick Summers drove in three runs. Ryan Gruszecki (2-1) pitched a complete game two-hitter with nine strikeouts.
Wharmby Sports 12, Action 2
Wharmby Sports (3-6) scored five times in each of the first two innings. Ben Bechtol had three hits, scored three times and drove in three runs. Scott Harmon and Steven Richards had a pair of hits. Jake Yatsko had a pair of doubles for Action Physical Therapy.

STRUTHERS — Todd Kibby allowed only one hit with nine strikeouts in five innings for Dave Sugar Excavating in a Thursday game.. Dan Banna and Joey Borelli each hit a single and a double each, while Patrick O’Brien had two hits and a pair of RBIs. Dante Abbas hit a double for Simon.
Rondinelli 5, Roth Brothers 0
Cory Nesbitt allowed only a first inning single as Rondinelli shut out Roth Brothers. Nesbitt had 11 srikeouts and walked two. Drew Fitzpatrick hit a triple and single and Cory Hitt hit two singles. JD Kubacki had the only hit for Roth Brothers.
Warren AA
WARREN — The Mahoning Valley Knights scored the only run of the game in the sixth inning as Nate Persin singled, advanced to second on Greg Barton’s bunt single and came home on two wild pitches for a the victory over Cleats Club Seat Grille.
Cleats (3-4) loaded the bases in the fifth and seventh inning but couldn’t score. Knights’ Brett Dutton pitched a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts to pick up the win.
Express 8, Predators 3
WARREN — P.I. I Express snapped a five-game losing streak to record its first victory of the season. Brett Grabman, Brandon Woods, and Mike Carnahan keyed the attack. Woods was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Grabman scored twice and stole three bases. Carnahan had two RBIs. The Predators’ Jarrett Partridge was 3-for-4 with a triple for Trumbull County Predators (1-4).
