Improvement slated next week for Leetonia village road

LEETONIA — The village and Salem Township will close Butcher Road at 8 a.m. on Monday between Washington Street and Lisbon-Canfield Road for berm work on the south side of the roadway.

The road will be closed except for local traffic and emergency vehicles. It will remain closed for about eight hours to complete the work, said Gary E. Phillips, village administrator.
