Mineral Ridge's Honsaker wins long jump for first state title

COLUMBUS — Nicole Honsaker of Mineral Ridge capured her first state title Friday in the Division III long jump event at the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s state track and field championships here.

Honsaker, who has also qualified in three other events for today’s finals, had a career best jump of 18-feet-1 inch to win the event.
