Pane glass window falls from BW-3 in downtown Youngstown

Published: Thu, June 5, 2008 @ 5:36 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — Wick Avenue between East Federal Street and Commerce Street in the downtown was blocked off due to a pane of glass that reportedly fell from the building housing Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant today.

The entire area was closed off, and the restaurant, which is a tenant in the building, will be closed for remainder of the day and expects to reopen Friday.

The owner of Buffalo Wild Wings, Ed Yaskowtz, would not comment on the accident, but he said that scaffolding and tarp would be placed over the entryway to avoid any further falling debris.
