Wayne McDougal is Jackson Township’s fire chief. Rick Pellin is the fire chief in Milton Township. Pellin’s township affiliation was incorrect in an article on Page B1 of Tuesday’s Vindicator about Lane LifeTrans’ offering emergency medical services to western Mahoning County.

In a story in Tuesday’s Vindicator on page B2 under the headline “Beaver trustees to vote on Green dispatching,” incorrect totals were reported. Green Township Fire Department will pay Beaver Township for dispatching services. Under a contract effective from Aug. 1 through Dec. 31, 2010, Green will pay $4,167 for the rest of this year, $10,350 for 2009, and $10,715 for 2010.
