Date is chosen for Bowser-Hake outdoor wedding

• YOUNGSTOWN — Wendy and Dave Kishton, 3635 Arden Blvd., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Alina Bowser, and John R. Hake Jr., both of Boardman, and plans for their late-summer wedding.

The couple will be united in marriage during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony on Sept. 13 at the gazebo in Boardman Township Park. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for their reception at Caff Capri in Boardman.

The future groom, a son of Paula Hake of Slatedale, Pa., and the late John R. Hake Sr., graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He is employed at Austintown Dairy in Boardman.

The bride-elect is employed in the medical records department with Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates in Canfield. She attended Youngstown State University.
