COLUMBIANA CO. FAIR Updates

Cooper Wiley, 17, of Leetonia, and Kasey Baker, 20, of New Waterford have been named the 4-H King and Queen for 2008, according to fair officials. Upcoming events today, which is Youth Day, include:

8 a.m.: Open Class and Junior Dairy Cattle Judging at the Coliseum.

Noon: Kids’ Tractor Pull at the grandstand.

1 p.m.: Kids’ activities at the horse arena.

1 p.m.: Homemaker’s Day with demonstrations all day at the arts and crafts building.

3:30 p.m.: First Ice Cream Eating Contest.

6 p.m.: Junior Fair Steer Show at the new beef complex.

6:30 p.m.: Pocket Pets Judging at the Government Building.

7:30 p.m.: Demolition derby at the grandstands.

Thursday

Truck and tractor pull: 7 p.m.

Friday

Lorrie Morgan in concert: 8 p.m.

Saturday

Truck and tractor pull: 6 p.m.

Sunday

Horse pull: 9:30 a.m.

Combine demolition derby: noon.

Demolition derby: 6:30 p.m.
