Western Columbiana County roadwork will begin Monday

ALLIANCE — The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 11 has announced it will begin work next Monday to resurface about five miles of U.S. Route 62 in Columbiana County.

U.S. 62 will be resurfaced from the Stark County line, which is also the Alliance city limits, to the junction of state Route 165.

Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

ODOT’s contractor for this $1.5 million project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc., of Canton, Ohio. The completion date is Aug. 30.
