X NEW WILMINGTON, Pa., — Christie Grewe, daughter of Jim and Tracey Grewe, 14 Poland Manor, Poland, and Ben Nelson, son of Tom and Kathie Nelson, 8575 Shady Glen Trail, Poland, were united in marriage in a 4 p.m. ceremony May 24 at Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College.

Dr. Kang-Yup Na performed the ceremony.

The couple, both of 23A Norwood Court, Princeton, N.J., received congratulations during a reception at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown.

They honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.

The bride wore an ivory mermaid-style dress and a hat adorned with feathers and a partial veil.

Wearing black dresses were maid of honor Marisa Toppi and bridesmaids Megan McConnell, sister of the groom, and Alissa Bookwalter.

Best man was Kevin Houseman, and groomsmen were Jon-Paul McConnell, brother-in-law of the groom, and Jordan Hinds.

The bride graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree and from Columbia University in New York City with a master’s. She is a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., where she is employed as a teaching assistant.

The groom graduated from Westminster with a bachelor’s degree. He works as a financial analyst for Moody’s Investor Services in New York City.
