Scrappers lose first game, rain wins second

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers lost to the Aberdeen IronBirds 5-3 in a seven-inning game Wednesday night at Eastwood FIeld.

The game was supposed to be part of a doubleheader, but the second game was postponed due to rain. It will be made up Thursday night as part of a doubleheader. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the game starting at 6:05.
