Parade will ply some North Side streets Sunday afternoon

YOUNGSTOWN — Sunday’s parade for the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival will begin at 3 p.m. at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. It will proceed southbound on Fifth Avenue, then eastbound on West Wood Street, northbound on Wick Avenue, and then eastbound on East Rayen Avenue to Watt Street, where it will end. There will be a reviewing stand at Watt Street. The parade will feature 75 units, according to Claire Maluso, co-chair of the parade. The festival begins today on the church grounds, which are at Via Mount Carmel and Rayen Avenue. The festival begins Thursday on the church grounds, which are at Via Mount Carmel and Rayen Avenue.

Those are all considered downtown streets. Where does North Side come into play?
