Ghioldi-Sherhag engagement is being announced

X CANFIELD — Announcement of the engagement of Carlie Ghioldi, a daughter of Anthony and Doreen Ghioldi, 3334 Starwick Drive, and Steve Sherhag, a son of Terry and Kathy Sherhag, 2235 Sprucewood Drive, Austintown, is being made by the bride-elect’s parents.

Also announced are plans for the couple’s open wedding, which will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 20 at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Austintown, where the prospective groom is a college minister. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall in Youngstown.

Miss Ghioldi, a cable/materials engineer with Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in chemical engineering.

Mr. Sherhag attended Youngs-town State University and graduated from Geneva College with a degree in community ministry. He is a shop manager with Neshannock Woods in Mercer, Pa.
