‘Try It’ workshop for beginner dancers

YOUNGSTOWN — Girls and boys, ages 4 to 17, are invited to participate in a “Try It” workshop, to see if Irish dance is in their future.

Classes will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on four consecutive Mondays, July 21 and 28 and Aug. 4 and 11, at the Burke School studios, 3507 Canfield Road.

The cost is $50 per student, and each is asked to take a water bottle and to wear shorts, socks and, if possible, ballet-type slippers.

Registration forms, which can be downloaded at www.burkeirishdance.com, should be taken to the first class. Regular classes will begin after Labor Day.
