Drouhard-Barger engagement told, wedding planned

X Announcing the engagement of Brittany Drouhard of Uniontown and Craig Barber of Stow and plans for their upcoming marriage are their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Charles and Lois Drouhard of Canfield, and parents of the future groom are Carl and Sandy Barger of Youngstown and Edward and Carol Vinkler of New Middletown.

The couple have chosen Julia’s Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard as the setting for their 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for their reception that evening at The Embassy in Youngstown.

Miss Drouhard, a graduate of the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Summa Health System in Akron. She is pursuing a master’s in nursing at Kent State University and plans to be a family nurse practitioner.

Mr. Barger earned a degree in sport science at the University of Akron and a master’s in sport and recreation management at KSU. He is the program director at Grunt’s Gym in Richfield.
