Orthodox league chapter conducts election

YOUNGSTOWN — Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church has elected officers for the local chapter of the Ukrainian Orthodox League, which is headquartered in South Boundbrook, N.J.

Serving through 2009 will be: Walter M. Duzzny, president; Howard Ulbricht, vice president; Krista Ulbricht and Olga Senedak, treasurers; Robin Thomas, secretary; Stephanie Remedio, corresponding secretary; Kathy Starr and Yvonne Mark, auditors; and Diane Senedak, chapter reporter.

The Rev. John Harvey will remain as spiritual adviser.

The local chapter will host the 2009 national convention with Kevin Thomas and Robert Mark as chairmen and Remedio and Kathleen Duzzny as treasurers.
