Struthers Rotary plans outing for area golfers

LOWELLVILLE — Bedford Trails Golf Course will be the setting on July 19 for the 20th annual golf outing to be sponsored by Struthers Rotary.

Play will be a scramble format that will get under way at 2 p.m., and there will be a lunch and dinner.

Hole-in-one prizes will be a $5,000 shopping spree from Nemenz Food Stores and a $10,000 cash prize from Becker Funeral Homes. There will also be prizes of $400, $200 and $100 for first-, second- and third-place teams, respectively; individual awards; door prizes; and a 50-50 raffle.

The cost is $60 per player or $325 for a four-man team and hole sponsor. A hole sponsor is $100, and dinner-only is $25.
