Air conditioning/furnance units stolen from downtown building roof

YOUNGSTOWN — Two air conditioning condenser/furnace units that had been removed from the roof of a building at 360 E. Federal St. in order to make roof repairs were stolen, police said. The value is listed as $13,500.

A construction manager said the units were placed in the parking lot of the building on June 30 and he discovered them missing Tuesday. He said while the units were in the parking lot several people stopped by and asked about scrapping them.
