NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A publicist for Keith Urban says Nicole Kidman has given birth to a baby girl in Nashville.

In a statement e-mailed to The Associated Press, the publicist said: “Nicole and Keith Urban are delighted to announce that Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7, 2008, in the United States. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban weighed 6 pounds 7 1‚Ñ2 ounces. Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well.”

ABBA: No reunion tour

LONDON — Despite the astonishing success of the stage musical “Mamma Mia!,” ABBA has ruled out any reunion tour.

Songwriters Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of the Swedish pop quartet told Britain’s Sunday Telegraph that ABBA will never perform together again.

Ulvaeus said “money is not a factor and we would like people to remember us as we were. Young, exuberant, full of energy and ambition.” ABBA, which also included members Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-frid Lyngstad, was one of the biggest bands of the 1970s.

ABBA split in 1982 but continues to sell nearly 3 million records a year. Last week all four members appeared at the Swedish premiere of “Mamma Mia!,” a film based on their hits.

A-Rod’s wife seeks divorce

MIAMI — The wife of New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez has filed for divorce in a Miami court.

A lawyer for Cynthia Rodriguez filed the papers Monday.

The filing comes just days after the Yankees third baseman was linked to Madonna. Cynthia Rodriguez later visited the Paris home of rocker Lenny Kravitz, who said she came to France to escape the media frenzy in New York and denied that anything improper had happened.

The baseball star has refused to comment on his relationship with Madonna.
