BCS National Championship Game (7:30 p.m., Fox): College football’s wild and unpredictable season finally comes to a close tonight with the Ohio State Buckeyes taking on the LSU Tigers in the BCS National Championship Game from New Orleans. Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis call the action.
“Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann” (8 p.m., ABC): Will there be blood on the ballroom floor? One might think so based on the hyped-up promo ads for “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann.” It’s a “Dancing With the Stars” spin-off in which judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba coach two teams of dancers and singers and then watch them battle it out in a series of live performances. Drew Lachey hosts.
“Antiques Roadshow Baltimore” (8 p.m., PBS): Host Mark L. Walberg and the rest of the team visit Charm City as the series begins its 12th season. Monday’s program, the first of three installments from Baltimore taped in June, includes appraisals of local treasures, including American Indian artifacts, an angelfish pin given by Mark Twain to one of his female protégés and a 19th-century rock crystal watch. Walberg and appraiser Wes Cowan also visit the Ladew Topiary Gardens to spotlight the unusual cast-iron decor.
“The National Body Challenge” (8 p.m., Discovery): NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” began its new round of weight-loss rivalry last week by teaming its contestants into pairs. Now viewers will be seeing double on another show when “The National Body Challenge” begins its twins edition. Discovery Health’s fifth annual weight loss and general wellness campaign starts with a four-part television event, following four sets of identical twins who all have an identical problem: obesity. Premiering 8 p.m. tonight and airing four consecutive nights, the series chronicles the twins’ 15-week journey to unload the fat and get fit.
“Medium” (10 p.m., NBC): Oscar winner Anjelica Huston joins “Medium” for a six-episode story arc as the supernatural series returns. Huston plays a private investigator who strikes up an unusual bargain with Allison, whose life has turned upside down now that her psychic abilities have become public.
