BOARDMAN — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Market Street motel over the weekend.
A 28-year-old Youngstown man told police that he met a woman early Sunday morning at a Hilda Street bar. The woman invited the man to the Tower Motel, Boardman, where she was staying. When the pair went into the motel room, a man struck him in the head and then pointed a gun in the victim’s face.
One man continued to beat the victim while another went through his pockets. The two robbers took $400 cash, a cell phone, gold chair and an earring from the victim before leaving him in the motel room, a police report said.

Moral of the story..........
NEVER go to her place!
OR BOARDMAN.
The BPD needs to set up that substation at the corner of Shields and Market. They spend most of their time at the Shell station and across the street anyway. There were 5 of them there the other day pulling over one car. The Tower motel is close to that intersection too.
Gosh, boardman is going down the tubes. Umm, and the moral of the story here is never go home with bar trash!
