Dann refutes inspector general’s report

Published: Mon, December 22, 2008 @ 4:08 p.m.

A defiant Marc Dann insists the claims of improper use of his office in an inspector general’s report are false.

“It’s filled with innuendo rather than fact,” Dann said.

The ex-attorney general said the report is filled with “hyperbole and exaggeration.”

Dann said Inspector General Thomas P. Charles had a “clear bias” against him.

He added that neither he nor any member of his family illegally took money from the state, his campaign fund and his transition fund.
