Robber gets away with $10, debit card from South Side woman

YOUNGSTOWN — A 23-year-old woman walking home from a Midlothian Boulevard bar around 3 a.m. today had a gun put to her head and was pushed to the ground before being robbed of $10 and a bank debit card, reports show.

The Roxbury Avenue woman told police the suspect, who also was on foot, threatened to shoot her if she said anything.

The woman said she waited two minutes before using the cell phone she’d dropped during the robbery to call a friend for a ride home. Police interviewed her at her home.
