YOUNGSTOWN — Robert Hannon, sports director for WYTV, has been hired as the new president and chief professional officer of the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way, effective Sept. 1.
The decision to hire Hannon was made during a special meeting of the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way’s Board of Directors this morning, said Donald Cagigas, whom Hannon is replacing.
Cagigas, who was to have retired June 30, had announced earlier this year he would leave the job.

Let's hope Hannon stays at 33, he's the only thing left to watch on 33.
Yea since the new managment it really has gone downhill from the on air talent to the set which is a green screen. It use to be my favorite news station.
I agree he should stay at 33, although he makes an OK sportscaster not sure how he will fair running a Non-Profit organization like The United Way. Can't really see a similarity in experience from Sportscaster to President of a Non-profit, but hey, this is Youngstown, maybe we'll see Don Cagigas doing sports, LOL!
Personally I think that someone who has/had a gambling problem should not be in charge of any organization.
