HUBBARD — Hubbard High School senior John Madeline Jr. will attend Thiel College in the fall of 2008. He expects to compete in baseball and football.

A three-year starter and three-year letterman in football, Madline played cornerback and kicked for the Eagles. In 2007 he made 41 -of-43 extra points and was 5-for-5 in field goal attempts, with his longest being 40 yards. He was selected All-Trumbull Athletic Conference.

In baseball, Madeline has played four years of varsity. He was honorable mention all-conference last season.

Madeline also started and lettered on Hubbard’s soccer team last fall.
