SALEM — Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Salem will sponsor a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Saturday at the Youngstown Shrine Club, 1735 W. South Range Road, North Lima, as a benefit for Habitat for Humanity.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., and games will begin at 6. The entry fee is $65 a person ($3000) in chips.
To preregister call Shane Gibson, (330) 337-6040 or Jeff Christopher, (330) 332-4373. Participants who preregister by Thursday will receive a bonus of $500 chips.

This is beyond the realm of cognizant thought. Didn't Christ get real real angry when the merchants set up shop in the temple? Now you are going to have gambling in the temple. This doesn't raise any eyebrows?
