New course chosen for golf outing

CANFIELD — The Kensington Golf Club at Westford Community, between state Route 11 and Tippecanoe Road, will be the new location for the ninth annual Joe Parteleno Memorial Golf Outing.

The 18-hole scramble is being sponsored by the ACLD School and Learning Center and will be held Aug. 10, beginning with breakfast and registration from 10:30 a.m. until tee-off time at noon.

In addition to the continental breakfast, the golfer fee of $85 includes a souvenir package; complimentary beverages, hot dogs and snacks on the course; a golf cart; hole and team prizes; and a steak dinner.

Available are corporate sponsorships for $500, patron sponsorships for $250 and hole sponsorships for $50.

Players or sponsors should make checks payable to ACLD School and Learning Center and mail to the center at 118 E. Wood St., Youngstown, OH 44503. Proceeds will benefit children from low-income families. For additional information, call (330) 746-0604.
