Truck and Jeep fest coming to Canfield

CANFIELD — Trucks and Jeeps — those American icons of power, performance, styling and fun — will take center stage this weekend at the Canfield Fairgrounds.

The inaugural Truck and Jeep Fest will bring more than a thousand of the vehicles, including monster trucks Bigfoot and Ramminator.

It will also bring Aaron Selway of Columbiana, who loves climbing over rocks in his Jeep.

Selway is a member of the Northeast Crawlers 4-wheel drive club, which is helping to stage the Rock Crawl Challenge at the Fest.

The Crawl is a huge pile of boulders set up as an obstacle course on which challengers can test their vehicles.

The event runs 2-6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
