Pittsburgh man gets 15 years in prison for bank robbery

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A man who has spent most of his adult life behind bars was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of bank robbery.

Quinn Bowman, 34, who admitted he robbed three banks with a pellet gun last summer, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer.

The judge also ordered Bowman to pay nearly $20,000 in restitution to the banks.

Bowman spent 10 years incarcerated from 1992 to 2002. He still faces trial on robbery charges in state court.
